Hello Friends,<\/p>\n

Recently we received some questions (again) about the move to Ghent and if that would mean that BruCON would change it’s name. That is certainly not the case. We could have avoided this by moving to Bruges (pretty city, a little far away from the airport) or even Brussegem (don’t ask ;-)). The choice for Ghent was a concious one, based on budget and general feedback from our attendees.  It makes sense that  , in the US, you don’t move NYcon to San Francisco, but in a country as small as Belgium and as a non-profit organisation we believe we can have our con in another city without compromising the ‘brand’. We’re pretty sure you agree with us \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
