To be noted, she started on mobile malware _before_ Android even existed! She is also the lead organizer of Ph0wn CTF, a CTF on the French riviera which focuses on challenges involving IoT.\u00a0Before joining Fortinet, Axelle worked on implementation of cryptology and security protocols.<br \/>\nThis is where she gets her mysterious nickname Crypto Girl or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/cryptax\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/cryptax\">@cryptax<\/a>.\u00a0Axelle reads her emails from a terminal with Alpine, still frequently uses FVWM as window manager, likes to draw a curious crocodile named \u201cPico le Croco\u201d and enjoys 3D printing.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;3390&#8243; style=&#8221;vc_box_circle&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/4&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;3392&#8243; style=&#8221;vc_box_circle&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;3\/4&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mikko Hypponen<\/strong> is cybersecurity researcher and a best-selling author. He has written for the New York Times, Wired and Scientific American and lectured at the universities of Oxford, Stanford and Cambridge. He has also keynoted at DEF CON, Black Hat Asia, and in BruCON 2010. Mikko works as the Chief Research Officer for WithSecure in Finland. His latest book is \u201cIf It\u2019s Smart, It\u2019s Vulnerable\u201d (Wiley 2022).
